HIP-Analyzer

Cast Analysis with a Clear Perspective

Usable separately as a device for analyzing casts and dental arches or as an attachment to the HIP-Mount the HIP-Analyzer is oriented parallel to the HIP-plane employing an adjustable 3-point-support for the maxillary cast.

Both surfaces of the HIP-Analyzer are etched with measuring grids. When the lines of those grids coincide you know that your line of vision is exactly perpendicular to the reference plane. If the Midline of the HIP-Analyzer is aligned to the maxillary suture, analyzing the symmetry of dental arches or the relative position of left and right teeth becomes a matter of seconds and one thorough look.

Use the HIP-Analyzer also for locating the ideal points for HIP-Mounting so that a centered position of the maxillary cast results in the articulator even if the maxilla has not developed symmetrically.

Finally, the HIP-Analyzer fits the HIP-Mount. The vertical grid can be oriented in 90° steps so that discrepancies in relative tooth length can be simply read off the scale.
