A telescoping central column allows for a large range of vertical
adjustments. Typically the inner telescope is set once to adapt the

HIP-Mount to the vertical dimension of your articulator and

every day working adjustments are made with the gear

driven outer column.

The table is machined from a specific steel that is resistant

to corrosion and yet will hold to the magnets employed in many

of the attachments to prevent their accidental displacement.

The guide rails are detachable. Should you ever switch to a different articulator

you can keep your HIP-Mount. Only its mounting plate will have to be replaced.
